NOT super realistic. Intended for fun renders ... there was a movie in which some strange cosmetic cream would smooth out wrinkles but had a bad side effect of making the skin super hard. Apparently adipocere hardens so there you go. Apparently this waxy substance can also make corpses float if they are in water. So I make an Iray Shader Preset so the cream can be applied to any figure. As I was experimenting with various settings, you probably want to make some adjustments and save your material preferences ;-) Seams will show of course, so careful selection of hair and/or clothing and/or some post work would be necessary.

I did not make any morphs for the cream but did provide enough mesh that some could be made. Templates included. Very basic 3Delight and Iray mats included.

I still look back fondly on Aiko 3. For a while now I've been working on an Aiko 3 inspired anime character morph. While the proportions are about the same, I did take some liberties with the face. I made it (IMO) a little bit cuter and less strictly anime. Anyway, I hope you find some use for her, I'd love to see some renders if you feel so inclined. :)

This post is the first half of the promised bi-directional pose transfer between M4/H4/F4 and G3M. This bit being M4/H4/F4 to G3M.

The scripts assume you apply the desired pose to the source figure, load in the destination figure, start the script and identify M4/H4/F4's hip in one drop-down combo box and G3M's hip in the other and then run the script. If all goes well, the destination pose will be very close to the source pose. If it isn't, then maybe limits need to be switched off & try again. You will almost certainly need to tweak the pose after the transfer, but hopefully not too much - similar to the tweaks you need when applying a base pose to a character with G3M.

So, here's evidence that the M4 zero pose is fairly accurately converted to G3M: (both started in their zero poses)

A dynamic dropsheet prop. Modeled loosely over a G8F figure lying prone. Sometimes one just needs a sheet you know ;-)

This prop can be used via the Dynamic Cloth panel OR one can add a dForce modifier and use dForce. As one can see with the test renders, if another target is placed under the sheet yes it will drape to that shape.

This was made in Hexagon and D/S4.6, and tested in D/S4.12.

May be used as you please however modifying the mesh is likely to result in the loss of the dynamic feature.

* In Daz Studio, find this script from Content Library, right click it, select: "Create Custom action", click "Accept".
* Now this script can be run from menu->Scripts
* Set iray's render setting->Max Samples to 100, so it won't take too long for rendering your thumbnail.

Use it
---------------
* This script offers 2 choices:
    - Create Iray thumbnail for current scene
    - Or, for a file you selected from Content Library

* It will save your render setting, then change render setting to render a 256x256 png image as thumbnail.
* After that, it will restore your render setting.
* Right click your file, select "Refresh" to check the result.

* If you don't run this script as Custom Action, after you click this script, your selected file will always be this script.

Due to the nature of hairs, this is NOT going to work with every available hair. The hair must have enough mesh to interact with - a substitute sphere might help. And yes, if the constraits are too much and the hair inappropriate, one can crash the program.

It is possible to make morphs for the desired drapes - this also gives one an opportunity to smooth off any rough sections. Remember, it is not necessary to have all drapes or simulations run full course. I would suggest aiming for it to look good from one viewpoint as one might for stills.

Dynamic = it can be draped using the Dynamic Clothing plugin in Daz Studio.

Or one can add a dForce modifier and run a simulation.

This comes with one morph. If wanting to mingle morphs with drapes, apply the morph first.

It's in my prop folder because it may be used with any figure. One cannot parent it to the figure or the drapes cannot be run. After running a drape if a little adjust is required - move the figure not the hat. If not running drapes - just using morphs, then one can parent the hat to the head.

Okay for commercial and non-commercial image renders. I made this using Hexagon and D/S4.6, tested in D/S4.12.

A simple neck rope for Horse 2 [fits to] - or can be used as a loose prop on any horse figure. More riders these days are advancing in their horsemanship using a neck rope instead of a bridle to communicate with their mounts.

The Rules For This Months Freebie Challenge are:

1. A minimum of  (5) Freebies must be included in your image along with Links to the freebies you have used. For an item to be considered free it must be offered as a freebie for the whole month. The exception to this rule is all Daz Bi-Weekly Freebies will be allowed throughout the entire month in which they are free as well as the month following their release as a freebie (For a total of 2 months). Also, if a freebie is broken down into multiple downloads/links/parts (IE like if the freebie is broken down into 3 zips etc...)it only counts as 1 freebie, not 3.
2. There will be a Maximum of 5 purchased items.
3. Base figures (All Gen 2,3,4, and Genesis 1,2,3) as well as their general morphs packs (Morphs++ and similar) do not count as a purchased item or a freebie and may be used as needed
4.Your Rendered Picture must be a new render and postwork is allowed but you MUST include a before and after Postwork versions of your entry in the Entry Thread.
5. All DAZ 3D Programs are allowed (IE Bryce, Carrara, Daz Studio and Hexagon) plus Poser for the contest.
6. All entries are subject to the Daz3D TOS Found Here: Terms Of Service
7. You may enter a Maximum of 4 Entries per month.
8. You may edit your entry as much as you like in the main thread but once it is posted to the "Entries Thread" it may not be further modified. Also, if you edit or add things, be sure you update any links or freebie changes you make.
