Last year I have found one very good script from one user here for 3Delight rendering (in different options from low to extremely high) but I have now new computer and I forgot to backup this script from old one. I can not remember the name. Can someone help me to find it?

note - the issue seems to occur when using the per-pixel-shader preview option under certain lighting setups, you can probably fix your inverted normals situations with the geom. editor ( in the tool pane )
Some of the props and figures i made in the past had inverted normals
In the preview pane and in OpenGL renders and sometimes in 3Delight renders those surfaces render all-black
In poser those surfaces show up as inverted-transparencies
This script goes through the .obj file and flips the normals on the specified surfaces a.k.a. materials
this is done by reversing the order in which the facet vertices are listed

i know the Geometry editor tool built in DS 4.5+ has normals inversion
but i guess some of the renderers recompute the normals or something
but anyway, it helped me fix some of my props recently

Making boots and shoes for her are going to be hard because she doesn't use a t-pose.
It's been noted that Iray is getting more memory hungry in the latest beta. That, coupled with the tendency of PAs to include 4K maps (a good thing normally), even minor scene elements can consume significant texture memory. With this script, each texture of the selected scene element is reduced by half in each dimension (one-fourth resolution). The new textures are saved into the Studio temporary directory by default, so they'll disappear when the application exits. That means you should save your scene before running the script, not after. If, however, you press CONTROL (COMMAND on OS X) while running the script, the newly scaled images will be saved along side the original textures with the resolution appended to the basename (i.e. xxxx_2048x2048.jpg). Just place the script in one of your content folders. Enjoy.

What’s new
This new version of mcjTeleblender and mcjBlendBot includes these additional features
- compatible with Blender 2.66.3 and up ( was also tested on 2.66a and 2.66.5
- the Tiling settings of the Daz Studio materials are conveyed to Blender
- the Bump map strengths of Daz Studio’s materials are carried over to Blender ( Blender Bump Strength = ( DS Max - DS Min ) * DS Strength )
- If two identical figures or two identical props are in the Daz Studio Scene, and mcjTeleBlender’s
“Rename Nodes” is enabled, the two figures wont be mistakenly welded together in Blender
- There’s now a button to set all those mcjTeleblender settings to a default state
- There’s an extremely secret backdoor mode, available for the nerdy crew

Blender Version 2.66.3 and up uses different node names, this effectively prevents proper loading of the scene

These renders showcase my SSS techniques and the lights: the portrait is done with Fantasy Lights, the water scene - with the environment light shader Envlight2 (and AoA's fog camera for the haze). You will find material settings described in the SSS tutorial.

Notes: Textures are greyscale, have fun changing the color(s). Iray and 3Delight mats. It has 4 material zones and perfect UV mapping. It uses high level smoothing (10) to avoid eyelash problems, it will look terrible in the viewport until you let go of the dial and the smoothing calculates. You can crank the smoothing even higher if you need to but 10 was sufficient for all the G3M characters in my library. No hand-made character fits included, it didn't need any. It will also auto-follow all expressions.

Hi all. I hope this will be helpful to some... There was a request for an 8-ball texture for the Billiard Balls incuded in the Deco Downtime product by Jack Tomalin here on DAZ. I also included a set-up for Snooker as it requires more balls on the table than 8-ball. There are also two poses for G8F and G3M and their corresponding cue sticks.

This is a modified version of the AutoCAT script made by Mixamo to work with DAZ Character Exports. All my testing has been with the Genesis Character model but all of Daz's characters should share the same naming convention. Just load your model in MAX. Drag the AutoDAZtoCat.ms into the viewport and run it. Everything else is done from there. I hope it helps some I know it will help me in my processes. Good day and happy deving.
