The resulting Blender Python Script can be used after manually importing

the FBX scene that was manually exported from Daz Studio

Note that this functionality will be added to mcjTeleBlender 4 Beta 

mcjTeleBlender can also create blender-python scripts to fix the materials produced by the FBX transfer

The Rules For This Months Freebie Challenge are:

3. Base figures (All Gen 2,3,4, and Genesis 1,2,3) as well as their general morphs packs (Morphs++ and similar) do not count as a purchased item or a freebie and may be used as needed
4.Postwork is allowed but you MUST include a before and after Postwork versions of your entry in the Entry Thread.
5. All DAZ 3D Programs are allowed (IE Bryce, Carrara, Daz Studio and Hexagon) plus Poser for the contest.

7. You may enter a Maximum of 4 Entries per month.
8. You may edit your entry as much as you like in the main thread but once it is posted to the "Entries" thread it may not be further modified. Also, if you edit or add things, be sure you update any links or freebie changes you make.

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to Daz Studio, but have a traditional VFX background. I began using Daz Studio to help speed up personal projects, while also creating my own content to use. 

In this thread I'll share links to freebies I create. I'm currently focused on character morphs, but my interests vary widely. I also love hearing ideas that people are looking for, though I will pick and choose what is most relevent for me. 

I still have a lot to learn about Daz Studio, so there are bound to be errors and imperfections. I'll fix what I can, but everything is provided as is. All for noncommercial use only.

How to:

* Copy my plugin into MikuMikuMoving's Plugins folder.

* Open MikuMikuMoving, load the "tda miku base" model, load a vmd motion file with the facial motion you need.

* On MikuMikuMoving's Toolbar, click Plugins section, find plugin "MorphToDS", and click it.

* This plugin will save the facial motion into a .duf file for Daz Studio.

* Open Daz Studio, open a G1 figure, and drag the .duf file onto that figure, you will get the converted facial motion.

* This .duf file only works for G1, but, you can edit it to make it works with G2:

    - Open the .duf file as text.

   - replace all "/head" into "" (nothing).

   - replace all "#CTRLVSM" into "#VSM".

   - save and close this file, now, it works with G2.

Free fanasy dancer outfit for Genesis 3 Female.  The skirt panels are DForce.  For skirt, best if leave belt loops,, fastens, and ties at zero dynamic strength.  Skirt fabric dynamic is set to 100.  Top and panties are conforming.   Apply your own shaders.

A new freebie has been added to Vanishing Point: the Orville, from the FOX TV show "The Orville".

* DAZ Studio prop: dsf, duf/ png, with 110,476 polygons.
* Not scaled to the size of the Poser/ DAZ figures.
* No moving parts.
* One texture map with the name of the ship.
* All of the materials use Iray shaders.

Firstly, Thank you to all those who support the effort I put into what it is I do.
This set is quite okay. It includes two separate props that I rigged to the eyeballs. A motorcycle and its Pursuit kit add-on. It just didn't quite make the grade due to it's name. I'm sure you won't mind that detail. If this sits in my files, it'll probably never see the light of day. That would be a shame :)

The Hybrid Pursuit has a hybrid, electro-hydraulic drive train. Totally fictional, but visually convincing enough to add some diversity to your Future-Fantasy, Sci-Fi or CyberPunk themed scenes. The Hybrid Pursuit was carefully made, with Iray material presets in Patrol, Highway and "Rogue (plain)" police styles. All but the default Patrol mats come in both decalled and plain layouts. The Pursuit Kit is a separate rigged wearable prop, allowing this bike to be used as a civillian/outlaw vehicle. L.I.E Decal presets are also included.

This set comes with sixteen basic poses for Genesis 8 Male and Genesis 8 Female (8 for each character). The wearable load presets will load both the basic Hybrid Pursuit bike and/or the bike with full Pursuit Kit to the respective characters. The characters will be automatically posed with the bike upon loading (wearable preset/s) posed in the default riding position. As parented props, the included H-Poses will pose both characters and bike respectively.

The Hybrid Pursuit and Pursuit Kit are both fully rigged. In the Parameters Tad of each prop, you will find a comprehensive set of Pose Controllers, which will give you a heap of posing options. From wheel-standing down to pushing all the buttons and switches. The stand-out feature would have to be the poseable foot pegs mounts, that adjust from forward to backwards into a high-speed riding position. With adjustable handlebars included, any character can sit/lay on this thing.

Thanks for checking this out and I do hope that you can have lots of fun with the Hybrid Pursuit in your art.

Hi folks,

I've created a freebie beach towel prop. This is my first attempt at distributing an item so I've made it pretty basic for now while I'm learning how to package things for distribution etc.

Hope you can make use of it and if there are any problems with the way I've packaged it please leave a comment below so I can fix it up. I have no idea how to get it to show in the Smart Content pane, but the content locations can be found in the ReadMe.

Prop is fully textured. Colour can be changed using the Diffuse option. You can just alter the colour or replace the mapped image with an image of  your own.

Hoping to release more complex and refined items in the future.

Hello friends. Long have I been a member of this community, downloading other people's freebies and thinking I could never possibly make anything of the like. Well friends, that has changed. I decided to learn Blender so I could give back as a thanks for all the nice free things I've gotten in the past.

I am still in the beginning stages of modeling, but I would like to start a thread for the things I make and put up. For my first offerings, I give you: a Teapot with a cup and scaucer and a Dining table and Chair. The teapot and cup are just obj and mtl files, not uvmapped, but look nice in Iray or 3dl with whatever shader you may use. The Dining set, is uvmapped and textured and properly packaged up to be used in DS 4.8 and higher. The material are set up for Iray, but I'm sure with tweaking could be used in 3dl with no trouble.

As you can see from the promos, both offerings are scaled properly to work with DAZ figures. Please enjoy these offerings and watch this space for more.

In collaboration with @timmins.william, I am pleased to announce an automated material converter from Iray Uber to 3Delight Basic. It won't eliminate all custom tweaking, but should make the task considerably less painful. Included are the script, an icon, and a tip. They should be named "IrayTo3Delight.dsa", "IrayTo3Delight.png", and "IrayTo3Delight.tip.png" respectively in a directory of your choosing. All the bugs are my own, so don't blame Will, just post them here, and I'll do my best to be responsive. Render on!
