Hello everyone. Time and time again, life has given me lemons,one could say but i am back once again with new free faces for V4 and M4. I am gonna try to make for the new Gen of characters too, if i ever have the time :)  Here are a feww renders of the characters i'm working on. As usual, they are celeb lookalikes :)

(RC-2) Ruined City 2: Sci-fi was meant to be the follow up for the popular Ruined City set. Much like the 1st city set, the idea was that most of the things in RC-2 would come in 2 flavours. One "clean" and one "trashed" model.

But as 3d people know, sometimes projects just don't work out, things get consigned to a dusty corner of our hard drives and get forgotten about it. Which is what happened here, until by luck these models where re-discovered.

Obviously this isn't a complete ruined city, but instead all the stuff that was modelled from the original concept. Some of it was going to be free, some would've included in a product. So ladies, gentleman and creatures of all shapes and hues, for your rendering pleaure is this little lot for free!...

I did these for Carrara a few weeks ago, and have now plugged them all into Iray Base Shaders for use in Daz. I got permission from Nobiax again to redistribute these in another format.

I'd like the community's help in making these perfect for Iray. So far, I have only plugged in the texture maps, set Metallicity on the appropriate presets, set a basic level of SubD and Displacement on the presets that include a displacement map, and set a basic Emission level on the few presets that include those maps.

Please comment below if you find any default tweaks that need to be made to these - too shiny, not shiny enough, looks way better with metallic flakes, etc. Please give detailed info on what you'd like to see changed and renders if possible. I'll rerelease a new version with whatever fixes we come up with, including adding tags. Some normal/spec maps might be incorrect, as I was drag/dropping them into Daz... I noticed a few that didn't take the first time I dropped them onto the channel, so I can't say 100% will be right. Let me know! :P if you want to fix them for your own use before the 1.00 release, all the texture maps are included, you just have to switch it within Daz.

-The Carrara shader pack is also available from this download link. Since the Daz Studio community is bigger and I'm more likely to get feedback and changes here, I'll port any changes over to the Carrara pack sometime in the future - maybe (hopefully!) when Carrara gets Iray.

Assembled in DAZ Studio 4.8 Pro Public Build by kaz42 (Daz)/The-Golemancer (DevArt)

328 Daz Studio Iray-compliant shaders made from the "Free Textures Packs 1-55" by Nobiax (ShareCG and DevArt), as well as his free Impact texture set and commissioned Medieval texture set. Please visit Nobiax's pages for some nice free models, as well as links to his Unity and UE4 commercial work.

All shaders include Diffuse and Normal channels. Most include Specular, and a few also include Displacement and Glow.

All shaders are provided as-is. They were made using the default settings other than the texture channels, so some may need additional tweaking (reducing shininess, for instance) to look their best.

These shaders are free for any and all use, including commercial.

This is a texture that I developed in GIMP over the past couple of days. It has a lot of different types of things it could be used for; I personally just threw it on as a skin for a humanoid beast-thingy I am creating off of the Michael 4 base, and it worked out pretty nicely (even though I had to play around with the tiling settings to get it quite right). Since so many other people have been kind enough to share resources that I use every day here (and in other places), I thought I should share it with the community. Feel free to use it in any kind of project that you wish, but please don't redistribute it without asking me first. Credit for use is optional; appreciated, but not needed (if you choose to do so, credit dreambornegaming). Note: Because I am still new at this, the texture isn't seamless; however, except close-up on irregular figures, the uneven nature of it hides this fact so well that I never even saw it until I went into detail-work on my figure in Daz3D.

mcjLagEffect  is a free script for Daz Studio initially published in spring 2010

Typically it replicates the animation of a figure onto a skirt with a short delay, and this gives the appearance of dynamic clothing

but it works for anything that dangles and accepts a d-form

in the case of the fish tail

i used mcjCycleFilter Synth/Current on the XYZ Rotations of the d-form to amplify the swings

2) Model will come in small, so you can resize to fit your need.

800%- 1000% works nicely.
