Sun-Sky Time for Iray is a small script that simplifies the task of setting the time under the Iray Sun-Sky Environment.

Uncompress the file on any desired folder, click on the clock icon inside DAZ Studio, and enjoy.

The main screen shows the hour digits, click on any number to select the corresponding hour, after that the numbers change to allow you yo select minutes.

If you want to click on a number without switching from hours to minutes, hold down the Control key.

what you see here is a meta-cube and a metaBall merging together

it's the mcjIsosurface3 plugin which still exists and works with Daz Studio 3

But today, following prodding

i ported it to Daz Studio 4.7 32-bit

tomorrow i'll see about the 64 bit version

it does render well in OpenGL and 3Delight but i doubt it will render in

DS4.8's IRay, unless it uses the same geometry the 3Delight renderer gets

note the DS4.7+ version is not posted yet ( tomorrow?)

And only if the file is formatted as a simple series of triangles

It's true that one could simply convert it to .obj by other means and import it

but lots of things are true

for instance it's true that this script generates a spherical UV map for the object

Now to kick things off.... here's a little Science Jumpsuit for Genesis 1, which is just perfect if you've got a scientist that wants to venture out.

Fractals generated across all seams at render time baked to a texture map in 3dsMax. This is not a tiled texture. Use imediately as a weight or bump map or blend in Photoshop to add variation to all of your textures. Becasue of how the Genesis 8 uvs are set (the face map uv is twice as large as the torso for example) the face map appears larger in the texture map but renders correctly at render time. I tried to upload a zip file but it would not let me. if you modify one texture map, write down what you do and do the same to all four to avoid seams. no copyright, no permissions, just make excellent renders.

Certain parameters do not work with all versions of mplayer, I only work well with mpv.exe. Tested mpv.exe 0.25.0-92-gbc3365b16

some props like my mcjNewCastle props have very deep hierarchies

so with this script, i select any part of the castle in view, run the script 

and bam the master node of the castle is selected

then i can send it 2000cm into the air and work on my figure poses with an unubstructed view

hope i did this right..... anyway, after many request decided to make some of my head morphs and textures for free. have fun editing :)

After some unexpected final tweaks, I decided my Christopher Reeve face morph for G8M was ready for release!  This is my first freebie that's in Daz Studio instead of Poser format, but of course, it will still work in Poser via the DSON Importer (and WillDial's procedure for getting G8 to work in Poser).

Now, the main morph controls some of Daz's own Genesis 8 Head Morphs, and a couple of them need to have their limits extended in order for the face to be shaped exactly as advertised.  I've included an illustrated PDF that shows how to do that.
