FREE IPAD NOVELS AVAILABLE...
Hi. I just finished my second book in The Rune Master Series, and have a small number of free coupons for the iPad versions. These are full length novels that are fully illustrated and animated throughout. I spent a few years on each one and brought them to a professional level. I illustrate nationally for a living so I know how to design, having done dozens of covers and about 4,000 jobs over the years. (www.philiphoweillustration.com)
You can preview these as I build the site at www.therunemasterseries.com
If you're interested, just let me know, contact me via email at philiphowe@comcast.net and I will send you both books, no cost, I just want to get the word out. These are just for Mac and iPad, not for PC.
I think Daz people will enjoy them as I used a lot of the products to create the animations and my main figures, sets, scenes. It was great fun and I am now working on the final books. The story is all about magic, created for young adults and adults who like sophisticated fiction, sci-fi and fantasy, that is not childish. The magic is science based and I worked very hard to make it feel believeable. I think you'll love the characters and the interplay of the graphics with the text and overall design. (These are not games, they are full length novels.) If you haven't tried animation with Daz, it can be daunting at first, but it does work and you can get some impressive results. I prefer it over the high-end programs and its so much faster! I was doing full animation scenes, with 2 or more figures and complex sets, around 1 minute length, 60 fps, and it took me around 2-3 days average, most of that render time and post effects.
Please take a look and let me know what you think. I'll send the coupon codes and directions for those interested.
Thanks, Phil
Long live the King! Hot off the 3D presses is this new release that morphs G8M's face into a likeness of the legend who launched the rock 'n' roll genre into the mainstream! If you're so inclined, please do share your renders of him! In any case, enjoy!

one version has 2 pieces is the cake plus the openable lid, and has holes ( made it very quickly on a dark and non-stormy night )
the second version has 15 pieces and inner-cake-walls ( thick tubes) so you can reconfigure it or build rowering cakes of Pisa
Someone on the forum suggested this so I went ahead and made an adam's apple morph for Michael 8 :D Enjoy!

Well, not really self-created, but...
In June this year, Animation Studio Mixamo has been bought up by Adobe. Which you may or may not heard of. You can't currently buy their animations during the process of integration into their company, but Adobe has been generous (aside from their free PDF Viewer, when have they ever been? ).
10 free test animations you always got for just signing up, and now you can choose freely from their entire catalog (from over 2,200 for human beings alone) aditional 20 (yes, no typo, twenty!) completely free animations, which are within their included web editor riggable to the DAZ People Victoria 4 and Michael 4 and can be exported to several file formates, including BVH and FBX. You'll have also the ability to import the skeleton layout of 10 of your own Figures, which could be Genesis/Genesis 2... or even an older Generation. There are no prices up there currently, but those who knew Mixamo from before can tell that they did cost around 30 US $... a piece! That`s thirty high quality animations for less than an apple and an egg.
I don't know if or what you'd choose... I got mine.
I have a request to make, regarding a Cosplay figure I would like to have done.
Is there any way someone could create a Cosplay wardrobe and hair for this version of Darla Hood from the 1982 animated series, to be designed for Genesis 3 Female?
Unlike in the theatrical shorts, this is what she looks like in the animated series.

you want to download
mcjIsosurface3 Plugin For DS4.7 32Bit.zip (91k)
and/or
mcjIsosurface3 Plugin For DS4.7 64Bit.zip
and unzip that in the appropriate folder
for the 64-Bit version
C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins
or
C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4 Public Build\plugins
or for the 32-Bit version
C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4 Public Build\plugins
---------
what you see here is a meta-cube and a metaBall merging together
it's the mcjIsosurface3 plugin which still exists and works with Daz Studio 3
But today, following prodding
i ported it to Daz Studio 4.7 32-bit
tomorrow i'll see about the 64 bit version
it does render well in OpenGL and 3Delight but i doubt it will render in
DS4.8's IRay, unless it uses the same geometry the 3Delight renderer gets
note the DS4.7+ version is not posted yet ( tomorrow?)
but you can see the manual here
https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts/mcjisosurface
the olden days (2011) launch video here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkTimQdypPQ
oh i almost forgot that ... isosurfaces can be saved as OBJ files, which means ... you can reload them and render them with IRay for sure
Your mileage may vary... Use these morphs to create a side part style and behind the ear style with Aprilysh's Karissa Hair. The morphs reduce the crown volume, so you might need to adjust overall scaling. Just a few tweaks should give good results. The dials are best used at less that 100%. But, just twiddle them. It will work ;)
Enjoy!
Zip uploads should be working now. Must've been the file size. I'll upload in 3 posts then.
Only my second building I have done in Sketchup. It is very simple, i.e. door can't open. I am new to this and still have lots to learn.

Hello,
With the spirit of the season, I would like to share 10 Free Poses for Genesis 2 Female and Genesis 3 Female, which can be found at my new website:
I plan to add more poses and other cool Daz Studio content often.
Happy Holidays to everyone :)
This is my thread for free poses for Genesis 3
I am still learning but it appears I have a knack for making poses. So I want to share some free ones with you..
All poses are absolutely free for commercial use... no attribution required. Just don't compile them and sell them. K?
I'll upload the ink to this first page so you can easily find them.
AVAILABLE NOW ON MY SITE
This wardrobe set contains a pair of dForce-friendly items suitable for casual lounging or an afternoon at the gym: firstly, a t-shirt which can display arbitrary artwork and messages with minimal distortion on female characters and, secondly, a pair of gym shorts that are loose enough to allow free movement without chafing. They have been tested to work well with a wide variety of character shapes -- with adequate results from auto-follow, and very good results using dForce.
Full-body morphs are included for V6, Olympia6, and "androgynous" morph. Other shapes tend to work through auto-fit and dForce, except for those with excessively large breasts (for which auto-fit always tends to produce binding effects). For those shapes which don't work well, and for great results in general, I recommend the timeline workflow detailed in https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/210551/my-workflow-for-dforce.
This package can be freely used for personal and commercial renders, but may not be redistributed without permission. Though not required, I would be grateful if you acknowledged the source and would love to hear from you here or at stocktonrgs@gmail.com to hear about your experiences with the outfits. (If you like them, great! If you have problems or suggestions, I'd be even more interested to hear from you.)
